San Romedio
A place rich in mysticism and spirituality where churches and chapels intersect, connected to each other by a staircase of 131 steps.
The relics of the “Saint with a bear on a leash” are kept in the Main Chapel, as San Romedio is still remembered today and in fact in the Sanctuary park there is a brown bear, which tourists and children can admire from above.
Not everyone knows, however, that to get here it is also possible to follow a path set in the rock that starts from the village of Sanzeno and winds through vegetation and wild nature.
If you choose this route, we also recommend a visit to the Reticus Museum located at the beginning of the trail.
